Where 'Hola' meets 'Hi'
For over 15 years, my sister and I have called this beautiful island home. What started as a search for a quieter, more intentional life led us to Mallorca - a Mediterranean gem where the sun shines generously, the mountains meet the sea, and life moves at a gentler pace.
We're two Dutch sisters who followed a dream: to live where work serves life, not the other way around. A place with time for the small joys that make life sweet. We found that in Alaró - a charming village tucked between the Tramuntana mountains - and more importantly, we found community.
We made friends from all over the world and just down the street. Locals and internationals alike, drawn by the same dream: to live more fully, more slowly, more together.
That spirit inspired SIS Market Café. Located on the old market square, Plaza de Mercado, our café is more than a place to eat or drink. It’s a gathering spot, where stories are shared - just like in the old days, when the village market was the heart of town life.
Here, we celebrate the slow life - being present, connecting with others, enjoying simple pleasures. Whether you're saying "Hi" or "Hola", you’re always welcome.
